So I wrote this about a month or so ago.
It had been a nice day. I was inspired. Mostly because the sun was so warm and bright that all I wanted to do was lie out in it and take a nice, long nap. I mentioned this to Alicia; somehow this became a challenge to write Lewis/Clark in which such a thing happens (napping in the sun, I mean). Alicia wrote a modern one that was really short and super cute; I wrote this historical nonsense. We emailed them to each other because that’s how we roll sometimes (but mostly because I was on a self-imposed Tumblr ban at the time); she thought and still thinks I should post mine, at least (I’m trying to talk her into posting hers).
So here. Lewis/Clark, not too dirty (I don’t think?), um, unproofread as I haven’t looked at it in a month.
I just want to say, though, that this is my favorite Clark, to write and to read. This young, brash, lustful redhead. He is so convinced that he’s so much a man, having lived, having had multiple lovers, but I don’t think he ever really becomes a man until he actually learns to love. But anyway, no one cares SO
